Company & team
ScholarLM is a live, publicly available academic research platform. This page is static and needs no JavaScript, so the company, product and founder facts below are readable by any browser, crawler or reviewer.
What ScholarLM is
ScholarLM runs a federated search over open scholarly indexes from a single query, synthesizes the retrieved papers into a cited field brief, and drafts citation-grounded research documents through a generate → critique → verify loop. Core search and synthesis are free and run for anonymous visitors — there is no waitlist, demo request, or sign-in wall in front of the product.
- Federated search over open scholarly indexes — Semantic Scholar and OpenAlex among them, together covering 200M+ records — merged with reciprocal rank fusion and reranked.
- Evidence synthesis into themes, open questions and per-source citations.
- ScholarDoc long-form drafting grounded in the retrieved corpus.
- PRISMA-style screening over a working corpus for systematic reviews.
